Mamblr.com

I have wanted my web domain since high school, but due to economic reasons back in the 90s, I wasn’t able to afford one. The closest I had for my own web page was sipping off bandwidth from my high school, but that didn’t work out well either….Besides, HTML is ugly.
Today, I have decided to reach for that dream again. Like all Web Host owners, I also want a piece of the pie to represent myself on the web. So, the process starts…what do I call my domain ???
Below were a short list of names I tried and gave up :-
1. emergentconsultant.com
2. emergententerprise.com
3. feedfly.com
4. firefly.com
5. socialtags.com
6. web20hippy.com
7. list goes on….
The list above sounds a bit too serious, and web20hippy won’t buy it, simply because I am not one in some ways.
After being despised by fellow blogger Paul Li for consulting Web 2.0 name generators, I have decided to squeeze a bit more out of my brain juice into a Web 2.0 name. The heavy roast duck meal I had before lunch made this all the more challenging, and I can feel that in my brain.
The name has to be meaningless, catchy, and like all Web 2.0 startup names, short and easy to pronounce.
After all the twingling in my mind, I came to the conclusion to call it mamblr.com
There you have it……now I need more coffee to get back to work…
As part of this, I like to thank all my mates who helped screen the stupid host names I came up with. Special thanks to my good mate at work, Sean Lew, for spilling the beans on how cheap web hosting is compared to the 90s.
Well done mate!!! have fun mucking around it. Its sooo much fun!
haha, I am so glad that I get a mention on your quest for a domain name…
